Venue networking that keeps the night online

Lighting tablets, audio over the network and media all depend on a solid backbone. We design and install venue networks, including UniFi for busy floors, not home routers with guest SSIDs bolted on.

Problems we solve

If any of these sound familiar, this is the service that addresses them.

Tablets and control dropping mid-service

If the network was built for guests first, venue systems lose when the room fills. That shows up as flaky tablets and “it worked at setup”.

Audio and media fighting guest Wi‑Fi

Critical traffic and guest phones on the same messy path create dropouts exactly when you can least afford them.

Nobody can explain the rack

Unlabelled switches and mystery VLANs mean every fault becomes a long night. Supportable layouts save hours.

What’s included

UniFi and wired done for venues

Access points, switching and cabling planned for floor, booth and back-of-house coverage, with capacity to grow.

Traffic that matters is protected

Control, audio and media get paths that do not collapse when guests join Wi‑Fi. Guest access stays useful without owning the network.

Documented and supportable

Clear naming and layouts so your team, and ours. can diagnose issues instead of guessing which cable does what.

How a typical project runs

Clear steps, so you know what happens before anything is hung or programmed.

  1. 01

    Survey

Coverage, existing kit, rack space, ISP handoff and which systems must stay up during service.

  2. 02

    Design

Wired backbone, AP placement, SSID and segmentation plan sized for your peaks, not a quiet Tuesday afternoon.

  3. 03

    Install and prove

We install, label, and test under realistic load so control tablets and critical services behave when the room is busy.

What we assess on site

Detail that matters before quotes and timelines get locked.

  • Coverage dead zones on floor, terrace and offices
  • Whether guest Wi‑Fi shares the same path as control
  • Switch capacity, PoE and uplink bottlenecks
  • Cabling quality and labelled patching
  • What lighting, audio and video will need next

Outcomes for your venue

  • Fewer dropouts during service
  • A foundation for audio and video over the network
  • Guest Wi‑Fi that does not starve venue systems

Networking FAQs

Do you only work with UniFi?

UniFi fits many venues well, but we recommend what matches your site, budget and who will support it later, not a brand for its own sake.

Will guest Wi‑Fi affect our systems?

Not if it is designed properly. We keep guest traffic away from the systems that run lighting, audio and media.

Can you improve an existing network?

Yes. Many projects are upgrades: better access points, cleaner switching and cabling fixes rather than a full rip-out.

Is networking required for lighting tablets?

Reliable Wi‑Fi or wired networking makes tablet control dependable. Weak guest-style Wi‑Fi is a common reason installs feel flaky.

Will you document what you install?

Yes. Clear layouts and naming are part of the job so the next fault is not a treasure hunt.
